Sanctuary "HEITATE Shinto Shrine" Japan

Last autumn I visited shinto shrine with my friends.
This called "HEITATE JINJHA". This is one of the most important sanctuary ground andthere are people who come from foreign countries to visite here.
There are mask of five-colored skin here for a long time from ancient times.
Japan is an island . It is why from the great antiquity without evena trade. It is mysterious.

Old house & Tsukubai

This is a "TSUKUBAI". And This is a very very old house in Oita. That roof made of thatch.

The Japanese tends　to　recognize　a good point again, construction, the culture, and the life of old Japan now.
This old farmer's house is now a restaurant and there is very popular.

Special New Year's food of Japan・・・cooking

This is a special New Year's food that I made.

It is one of the most important events for the Japanese at the New Year on January 1.
Most people come back to the parents' home, all families(of course my sons), have a special New Year's food(called Osechi-ryori), and pray for new year's happiness and health.
